Ben Hogan Wins the Texas Open Held at Brackenridge Park

Ben Hogan won the Texas Open when he beat champion Sammy Byrd by six strokes. Hogan’s 264 total was said to be a new tournament record. Earlier in the day Hogan beat Byron Nelson.
